What is Formula 82M?
Formula 82M is a specially compounded topical prescription solution designed to help treat hair loss and regrow hair. It contains FDA-approved hair growth medication called “Minoxidil” along with “Tretinoin” for improved scalp penetration and hair growth. 82M also has a sophisticated blend of beneficial anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and organic anti-androgen ingredients. What it does not contain however, is propylene glycol-a known irritant found in most over-the-counter minoxidil solutions. In its place is a blend of hair and scalp conditioners. Will it leave my hair greasy?

Does it have any side effects?
While minoxidil solutions can sometimes cause skin irritation, these side effects are rare with Formula 82M. Common side effects of other minoxidil formulations like dryness, flaking and inflammation are mitigated by the anti-inflammatory ingredients in 82M and the fact that it’s propylene-glycol free. How to apply Formula 82M?
Formula 82M is applied directly to the scalp in the locations where hair thinning is to be prevented and/or reversed. For maximum effect, 30 drops should be applied twice daily with each 15ml bottle lasting about one week. However, you should use this and any medication only as directed by your physician. Formula 82M is absorbed through the scalp, so be sure to take care in applying it directly and evenly. Carefully part and avoid hair wherever possible to reduce waste. Common treatment areas include the crown/vertex area, top of the scalp, as well as the frontal and temple areas. Once Formula 82M has been thoroughly applied, you may use other hair products and style immediately, but allow no less than three hours before showering, swimming, or engaging in any activity that will cause the scalp to become wet (e.g., rain or sweat). Refrain from using 82M the day before, the day of, and the day after any hair coloring or perming as the scalp may be more sensitive due to the treatment.
What to expect with treatment?
The scalp may tingle as the medication is absorbed and treated areas may appear slightly more pink with use as blood flow increases to the follicles. If dryness, flaking, or tenderness occurs, discontinue use and contact the office for further instructions. Some initial increased shedding within the first month is normal and may last for several weeks. Do NOT discontinue the medication if some initial shedding occurs. When starting a powerful hair growth treatment, shedding is a positive indicator that the treatment is working, as stronger hairs replace weaker ones. Effects should be measurable after three months, but it may take six to twelve months for improved growth to be visible to the naked eye. Formula 82M must be continued in order to maintain results.
